howtobehappy, a novel set on the eve of Yugoslavia’s disastrous civil war, is currently making the rounds. A new novel, The Map of the Enigmas, about a mysterious woman who has seemingly lived forever, is currently in development. Other novels include The Nickel Saints, an apocalyptic novel wherein the apocalypse encounters a serious glitch.
A lyricist and composer, OttemFox is an alumnus of the BMI Musical Theater Workshop in New York City, studying with Maury Yeston and Richard Enquist. Acting coaches include Tony Greco and Stephen Drewes, with regional acting credits in productions at the Manhattan Theater Club and The Theater for the New City in New York. Thrice selected as an Associate Artist at the Atlantic Center for the Arts in New Smyrna Beach, FL — for solo performance with Heather Woodbury, genre-busting novels with novelist Elizabeth Hand, and creativity with constraints using Oulipo, with cartoonist Matt Madden.
